I have been painting, drawing sketching since I was a young girl in Upstate New York, selling pencil drawings of horses to class mates for .25! Having weaved my way across America I stayed on the beautiful and alluring West Coast for 20 plus years selling my paintings to collectors in England, Russia, New York, California and North Carolina just to name a few. My art has been hung in many galleries across the country and I enjoy playing with various subjects and colors. The techniques I use depends on what medium I am playing with. I am currently in Wisconsin on the ever flowing Mississippi River. I love animal portraits as the eyes are the whole story of their souls and stories as you can note in my horse series and hunting dogs. I am hanging up my brush, so to speak for awhile, while I travel across the States and back to the Pacific Coast that I miss. I will be photographing our vast country side and the beauty of the wildlife so look for some paintings in a few months.
In the meantime you will notice art by Michelle Voidets, my daughter , who has taken up the brush. Her paintings are soulful and mesmerizing of the Mississippi River and for sale on my site.
Please email for shipping rates when you find that beautiful painting to hang on your wall or give as a gift! My heart is in every painting. Cheers, Susan

" US born Susan is a prolific painter who sells her work internationally. She has a certain naive style in some of her art and in others her use of colour is reminiscent of the Canadian Group of Seven and Emily Carr. She is painting the gorgeous illustrations for some children's stories soon to be published with the Frog and the Fairy as the cover."
